This is a wonderfully whimsical nonsense rhyme in picture book format. Children will love the energy and humour of the verse, which is a treat to read aloud together. Quentin Blake's appealing, colourful illustrations including lots of fascinating details that children will enjoy picking out.

I like this book because it is written by Quentin Blake. He is my favourite author. I also like this book because it has many interesting pictures too.

A wonderful, rhyming book that I grew up & remember loving as a small child. My son now loves it & often asks us to read it again & again! An absolute classic with terrific pictures, as you'd expect from Quentin Blake.

This is a story about a man with only one boot. He's got a lot of friends and one day when this little girl came around he found a blue boot. I enjoyed this book because i like rhyming stories and it was quite a funny story.
