Maybe a Fox

Jules and Sylvie are more than sisters: they're best friends. Jules loves rocks, and she collects special ones for her and Sylvie to throw into the river as wishing stones. Sylvie loves to run, and her wish is always to run faster.

One morning, Sylvie decides to run to the most dangerous part of the river to make a wish, leaving Jules behind to wait for her. But Sylvie runs so fast that she disappears and doesn't return. In the same moment, a fox is born, who soon discovers it has a special link to Jules.

This is a quiet and touching story about a girl learning to cope with the loss of her sister, told through alternating perspectives between her, the fox and her friend Sam.
