This satisfying little board book is full of great animal pictures and lift-the-flap pages. It’s a friendly and colourful way to encourage children to enjoy sharing and have fun, as they watch budgerigars chatter cheerfully and fish kiss carefully. Just like us!

My daughter absolutely loves this book and we read it to her at least twice a week! She loves to pull the flaps out herself and mimic the actions like holding hands.

My 1 year loved this from 3 months, the bright colours, the flaps and now she can do them herself it brings her more joy. A brilliant starter book.

My daughter loves to see the pictures revealed under the flaps and waits for me to open them, she tries to do it herself but she's a little young to get there yet. We talk her through the book with animal noises and actions. A really lovely simple read, I particularly like the repetition to make the book familiar as you go through and repeat the story.

Our toddler likes this one. He's really into cuddling at the moment, so it always inspires extra cuddles

This was in my sons book start pack from the health visitor. I read this to him today, he's 4 months 3weeks. He really seemed to be interested in the bright colours and he was fascinated with the flaps. Although he is young I thought he enjoyed it.

Amelia loved this story and was fascinated with lifting the flaps, a nice change to touchy, feely books!

This book was in my baby's book start pack, it's lovely and colourful and is a lift the flap book. My eldest loves it too (3) and it was good as she is developing and learning about friendships herself.

I found this book quite inappropriate for a child. Reason being, the illustrations are unnecessarily suggestive. Where in the real world are two young boys found to be kissing each other with hearts floating in the air. We should be teaching our kids basic morals and ethics of making friends such as, sharing, smiling, saying nice things, respect and so on rather than kissing, cuddling, and touching others which are not even essential for making friends... at least if were referring to the ...
