Llama on a Mission

After seven years of refusing to speak a word, ten-year-old Yasmin Shah must now learn how to use her voice effectively. She was hoping that the power of speech would make life easier, but it seems to be causing her more problems. As she attempts to deal with a school bully, an enthusiastic teacher and her overbearing parents, Yasmin learns that speaking is not the same as communicating.

Luckily, she has a secret guardian looking out for her: Levi is part of a covert organisation of toy llamas who help children, known as Seen Not Herd. When he revealed his true identity to Yasmin, he was turned into a real llama as a punishment and banished to the City Farm. Levi must now successfully complete his next mission if he is to be turned back into a magical toy. However, his loud, annoying and unconventional manner can have disastrous consequences.

This is the second story in a series about Yasmin and Levi, which can also be enjoyed as a standalone tale. Featuring mixed heritage characters, it is full of mayhem and zany humour, and accompanied by hilarious black-and-white illustrations.
