It’s Up To Us: A Children’s Terra Carta for Nature, People and Planet

Based on HRH The Prince of Wales and his Sustainable Markets Initiative Terra Carta, a road map for organisations and businesses to put Nature, People and Planet at the centre of everything they do, It’s Up To Us highlights the things that those organisations need to do to slow down climate change and create a better future for everyone.

Explaining how we find ourselves in the situation we are now, the book presents understandable principles for change: investing in renewable energy sources, protecting coral reefs, forests, savannas and wetlands, listening to the wisdom of indigenous communities, working with scientists to find smart solutions, and demanding that the leaders of our countries and businesses put nature first. The original text for the introduction to the Terra Carta is reproduced at the end of the book, as is a useful glossary of terms as some of the language in the Terra Carta itself is rather grown up.
