Fins Fluff and Other Stuff

Publisher: QED

A little boy imagines what it would be like to have scales like a fish or feathers like a bird. What if he was made of soap suds or cobwebs?

If he was made of water someone might drink him, or let him disappear down a plughole. If he was made of lollipops and liquorice people would eat him! He wouldn't be able to splash in puddles if he was made of metal - he would rust.

He decides, after all, that he is very happy being himself - a boy made of skin and bones.

An interesting discussion starter with a lively rhyming text and entertaining illustrations. At the back there are suggested next steps for parents or teachers.
