Cloudland

Publisher: Random House

Albert and his parents have spent the day high up in the mountains. On the way down Albert trips and falls off into the clouds. His parents are very sad.

Fortunately the Cloud Children say some magic words and Albert stops falling. He joins them in their games - jumping, playing cloud ball and fooling around with storms.

After a while Albert decides he would like to go home to his parents. The cloud Queen throws him a party and invites the man in the moon, then she says magic words and Albert wakes up in his own bed.

An unusual picture book. It will encourage children to create their own magic words and speculate on life in the clouds.
