Always and Forever, Lara Jean

Publisher: Scholastic

Life is looking good for Lara Jean. She will soon graduate from high school and is hopeful of getting a place at her chosen college where her boyfriend, Peter, already has a sports scholarship. Things are looking up for her dad, too, as his new relationship moves into a more permanent phase.

But life is rarely as straightforward as we would like and, when all the carefully laid plans begin to unravel, Lara Jean must make some difficult choices and learn to take a risk if she is to fulfil her potential.

The final instalment of the 'Lara Jean' trilogy unfolds at a leisurely pace and, although the minutiae of Lara Jean's domestic life and first serious relationship will not appeal to all readers, fans of the first two books will not be disappointed and will enjoy her personal journey towards independent thinking and a bright future.
