English teachers get a chance to meet and listen to Lauren Child deliver a keynote speech at 1.45pm at the annual NATE (National Association for Teachers of English) conference held this year in Aston, Birmingham. The theme of this year's conference is So Many Voices, So Many Worlds.

30 June 2018

A chance to meet Lauren Child at Keats Community Library in London's Hampstead from 2pm, when Lauren will be signing her book A Dog With Nice Ears. You can find more information on the library's website here.

6 and 7 July 2018

Don't miss the Lauren Child Summer Exhibition at Newby Hall in Yorkshire, which is taking place from 7 July to 7 September 2018. It features her artwork, an interactive garden trail and a writing and drawing competition. Lauren's very own doll's house is also on show for the first time, and she will be talking about it at a special evening on 6 July. Get all the information you need here.

There is also a chance to meet Lauren at the exhibition opening on 7 July. This is available for everyone who has a ticket to the fabulous gardens at Newby Hall - find out more here.

See Lauren at the Royal Academy Festival of Ideas discussing art and joy in children's books from 11:30am-12:30pm - find out more here. You might also be interested in two animation workshop by Gemma Burditt, inspired by Lauren Child's illustrations and taking place from 10am-12.30pm and 1.30-4pm (find out more about those here).
