More about the Waterstones Children's Laureate

Legendary children’s writer and UK Children’s Laureate Lauren Child revisits one of her most popular characters in these brand-new stories about the rather unconventional Bobton-Trents.

Hubert Horatio: How to Raise Your Grown-Ups (HarperCollins) is an illustrated series for young readers that is absolutely hilarious.

As always, the Bobton-Trent seniors are making the most of their extravagant wealth – socialising, doing things, buying things and generally being irresponsible. Luckily for them, their son Hubert Horatio is an exceptionally intelligent, talented and sensible child. Unluckily for Hubert, this means that a lot of his spare time is spent steering his family out of trouble.
