The CILIP Kate Greenaway Medal celebrates 'distinguished illustration in a book for children' - and the 2021 shortlist is spectacular!

We're giving you the chance to win all eight of the beautiful books that have been nominated this year.

Covering everything from a lion who can't sleep to a tale about how stars first appeared and celebrations of both the city and the great outdoors, there are so many adventures to discover among their pages.

If you win, you'll be getting your hands on:

  • Starbird by Sharon King-Chai
  • The Bird Within Me by Sara Lundberg (translated by BJ Epstein)
  • It's a No-Money Day by Kate Milner
  • How the Stars Came to Be by Poonam Mistry
  • Hike by Pete Oswald
  • I Go Quiet by David Ouimet
  • Arlo, the Lion Who Couldn't Sleep by Catherine Rayner
  • Small in the City by Sydney Smith

Quite a selection! If you want to be in with a chance of winning, simply answer the question below and leave your details before the closing date of 11pm on Thursday, 29 April.
