Bestselling author Alex Wheatle published his first book for teenagers in 2015, and went on to win the Guardian's Children's Fiction Prize. Now you can win the entire Crongton series – voice-driven YA that's as funny as it is thrilling. 

Alex Wheatle is the bestselling author of several books for adults – including Brixton Rock, now called a 'modern classic'. He's one of the authors supporting our BookTrust Represents project. He was awarded an MBE for his services to literature in 2008, has been twice nominated for the Carnegie Medal, and has won numerous awards including the Guardian Children's Fiction Prize.

Readers aged 12+ will lap up the four books up for grabs – Liccle BitCrongton KnightsStraight Outta Crongton and Kerb-Stain Boys. Grappling with issues as serious and topical as gang culture and divorce, they are also full of everyday details that teens will relate to, such as changing friendship groups and trying to win over someone you fancy.

1. Participants must be at least 18 years old to enter.

2. To enter the competition, you must be a resident of England, Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland.

3. The competition is not open to employees (or members of their immediate families) of BookTrust.

4. Only one entry per person.

5. Entries must be submitted by 11pm on Sunday, 9 June 2019.

6. There will be 3 winners selected at random (from all eligible entries).

7. If a chosen winner does not respond to correspondence within one week, a new winner will be selected.

8. Our decision will be final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

9. The prize will not be transferable to another person.

10. No part of the prize is exchangeable for cash or any other prize.
