The front cover of Bedtime Stories: Beautiful Black Tales from the Past

We're delighted to be giving you the chance to win Bedtime Stories - a beautiful new collection of stories based on Black figures from the past!

Written and illustrated by Black creators, this empowering anthology explores important people and events from across the world, and each story is just the right length for bedtime (or at any point children want an inspiring read!)

The book features a foreword from Candice Brathwaite and even includes a story by 7-year-old Sarah Mirkin, who won a competition in Cocoa Girl magazine.

Sarah's tale joins stories by Ify Adenuga, Ryan Crawford, Alex Falase-Koya, Mahamed Hashi, Ashley Hickson-Lovence, Nansubuga Isdahl, Jade Mutyora, Reggie Nelson and Wendy Shearer, while the illustrations come from Lucy Farfort, Anastasia Magloire Williams, Jade Orlando, Amanda Quartey, Paul Kellam and Richy Sanchez Alaya.

It's a real book to treasure, so we're thrilled to have five copies up for grabs! To be in with a chance of winning, simply answer the question below and leave your details before the closing date of 11pm on Thursday, 4 November - good luck!
