Amma's Sari and The boy who tried to shrink his name covers

Sandhya Parappukkaran's heart warming books tackle important issues regarding identity and self-acceptance as well as finding a place in this world with charm and simplicity. The Boy Who Tried to Shrink His Name follows Zimdalamishkermishkada on his first day at a new school. Struggling to fit in, he shrinks down to just Zim but deep down it doesn't feel quite right. It takes a new friend to teach him to own his name and who he really is.

Amma's Sari celebrates the importance of family, cultural heritage and acceptance. It follows second generation migrant Shreya as she askes questions about the two cultures she exists within. The beacon through all her confusion is her Amma's shimmering sari which leads her to embrace every part of her heritage and identity.

We are delighted to be giving away a copy of both The Boy Who Tried to Shrink His Name and Amma's Sari to five lucky winners who fill out the form below by 11pm Sunday 22nd May 2022. Good Luck!
