Our Writer in Residence Michelle Robinson has a fabulous competition for you!

Across her six months in the role, Michelle is focusing on making reading together fun - and now she wants you to get involved...

"To enter, we would like to hear your top tip for making reading fun. So what do you do that makes reading a joy for you and the kids?"

There are some excellent prizes up for grabs, as the person who provides Michelle's favourite tip will bag a bundle of her books AND a virtual visit for their nursery, school or home school!

The important stuff

• To enter, email your top tip to [email protected] using the subject line Michelle Robinson competition. Please include your top tip, your name, and the name of the setting you would like to receive the virtual visit if you win.
  
  
• The closing date for the competition is 11pm on 31 December, 2023. Michelle and BookTrust staff will choose the winner, who will be announced before Michelle's residency ends in February 2024.

Terms and conditions

1. To enter the competition, you must be over 18 and a resident of England, Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland.
2. The competition is not open to employees (or members of their immediate families) of BookTrust.
3. Entries must be submitted by 11pm on Sunday, 31 December 2023.
4. There will be one winner selected by a judging panel including BookTrust staff and Michelle Robinson. The winner will receive a bundle of books by Michelle Robinson along with a virtual visit from Michelle.
5. If a chosen winner does not respond to correspondence within one week, a new winner will be selected.
6. By entering, you acknowledge that your details may be shared with Michelle Robinson, purely for the purposes of administering the competition.
7. Our decision will be final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
8. The prize will not be transferable to another person.
9. No part of the prize is exchangeable for cash or any other prize.
10. The prize is run by BookTrust from our London address, G8 Battersea Studios, 80 Silverthorne Road, Battersea, London SW8 3HE.
11. Prizes will be sent out to winners by post. However, BookTrust cannot be held responsible for any prizes lost, damaged or stolen after they have been sent.
12. By entering you are agreeing to the terms and conditions in our privacy policy.
13. BookTrust reserves the right to amend the competition end date at any time.
