Participants must be at least 18 years old to enter.
To enter the competition, you must be a resident of England, Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland.
The competition is not open to employees (or members of their immediate families) of BookTrust.
Only one entry per person.
Entries must be submitted by 11pm on Monday, 3 February 2025.
There will be one winner selected at random (from all eligible entries).
The prize of a free visit is for 1 class (up to 35 students) and the required number of staff.
The prize of a free visit is free admission to any National Trust property except properties excluded from the promotion: https://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/services/help-centre/places-which-are-exempt-from-admission-promotions.
The free visit will be organised by the National Trust, in collaboration with BookTrust and the winner. The National Trust will provide recommended local sites from which the winner should select their preferred visit location.
The free visit date will be dependent on National Trust property capacity and availability.
The free visit prize does not include travel to and from the site, which the winner will need to organise themselves.
If a chosen winner does not respond to correspondence within one week, a new winner will be selected.
Our decision will be final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
The prize will not be transferable to another person.
No part of the prize is exchangeable for cash or any other prize.
The prize is run by BookTrust of No. 1 Aire Street, Leeds, LS1 4PR. However, the prize will be sent out by a third party and by entering you acknowledge that your details will be passed on to them, solely for the purposes of administering this competition.
Prizes will be sent out to winners by post. However, BookTrust cannot be held responsible for any prizes lost, damaged or stolen after they have been sent.
Where a third party is supplying a prize, BookTrust accepts no responsibility for inaccuracy of any prize description, and the third party is responsible for prize fulfilment.
