Whoosh Around the Mulberry Bush
Publisher: Oxford Children's Books
Inspired by Here We Go Round the Mulberry Bush, this book takes readers on a rhyme-filled, action-packed journey across the planet.
Beginning with a mulberry bush in an ordinary garden, it sweeps across farmyards, beaches, oceans, deserts, jungles and ice-caps, taking in many different animals before swirling through a starry night to arrive safely home.
You can't help wanting to join in with this book, as the driving rhythm pulls you along. It's an introduction to world-wide environments and animal behaviours and the colourful illustrations move as joyously through the book as the text, which delights in playing with the song's language. A book that starts with a mulberry bush and encompasses the entire world!

I love singing this as I read it to my 8 month daughter. The pages are so colourful, and full of beautiful drawings of animals. We especially love the patchwork snake!

This was Harlan's first library book, when he was a few months old. He loved the rhyming element of this book and so did we as it made it easy and fun to read to him.

We borrowed this book from the library and my 22-month-old daughter loves it. We now sing it through at least 3 times before bed. Lovely illustrations and we talk through all the animals, a great book.
