Three Billy Goats Fluff

(1 reviews with an average rating of 5 out of 5)

Publisher: Hodder Children's Books

Mr Troll is kept awake by the sound of the Three Billy Goats Fluff trip-trapping over his bridge to the lush green fields on the other side.

He threatens to put the billy goats in a stew if they disturb him again. Fortunately, Mrs Fluff is an excellent knitter, so she knits furry booties for her boys that will muffle the sound of the trip-trapping.

She also knits a fluffy blanket and earmuffs for Mr Troll and sends him a conciliatory letter.

Peace is restored, the billy goats eat their greens and the troll gets to sleep.

An enjoyable version of the traditional tale with rhyming threats; big, bright illustrations and lots of detail. Ideal for classroom use.
