Young Magicians Zack, Sophie, Jonny and Alex return in this magic-infused crime caper. In their previous adventure, the children saved the Magic Circle from financial ruin when they secured a generous donation from the Queen, after foiling a plot to steal the crown jewels.

Despite this, the president of the magicians’ society, Edmund Pickle, is reluctant to allow the youngsters to join their ranks. His kindly wife Cynthia, however, encourages their talent and invites them to the Magic Circle’s Annual Convention in Blackpool, where they get the chance to meet great magicians from around the world. When President Pickle receives sinister death threats, Cynthia tasks the four friends to investigate, but with a hotel full of masters of illusion, finding the culprit is no easy task.

Featuring lots of magical detail, larger-than-life characters and plenty of twists and turns, this compelling mystery will keep readers guessing until the very end. A great read for budding magicians or crime-solvers.
