The Worst Thing About My Sister
Publisher: Doubleday Children's Books
Marty is an imaginative, untidy tomboy who loves spending time in her room drawing cartoons of her superhero - Mighty Mart. But sometimes she thinks her friends and family would prefer her to be more like her big sister Melissa who is always clean and tidy and loves anything and everything pink and girly.
Marty and Melissa just about manage to get along until they are forced to share a bedroom when Mum needs extra room for her new business. Soon they are fighting every day, and to make things worse, Marty finds herself in trouble at school too. But when Melissa is hurt in an unexpected accident, Marty realises just how much her sister really means to her.
All fans of Jacqueline Wilson's warm-hearted family stories are sure to enjoy this enjoyable tale of the ups and downs of a relationship between two very different sisters, accompanied by Nick Sharratt's much-loved illustrations.

This book is all about sibling fights! When Mum gets a new job, tom-boy Marty and girly-girl Melissa have to share a room! Yikes!

I really loved this book, and because I have a older brother [18] I can now understand what sisters go through now reading this amazing book. Melissa was very tidy and cute, although full of herself. And Marty, who think pink is sick, and is a tomboy. Both different sisters, a warming ending.

Well, there's this older sister, her name is Melissa, and she has a younger sister called Marty. They argue all the time and they are very different. Its a funny story about siblings and the relationship between sisters.

This book was amazing in everyway. It was very moving when I first read it as I have a sister of my own and can totally relate to it. I recommend it to anyone who has younger siblings. Hope you enjoy! (:
