That's Not My Bear...
Publisher: Usborne
A different bear is introduced on each page of this colourful board book, but there is something not quite right about most of them: one's nose is too rough, another's paws are too soft, and yet another's tongue is too scratchy.
Babies will enjoy hearing the repetitive chant of 'That's not my bear', and will be delighted when, on the final page, the right bear is found. With bold, vibrant illustrations and a variety of interesting textures throughout, this touchy-feely board book is ideal for inquisitive babies and toddlers.

A simply gorgeous (range of) book(s) for babies and toddles. Big, bold pictures for the younger and easy to read sentences for those just beginning (to read).

No.longer a baby Adam has passed on all his That's Not My...books onto his 18m old brother who LOVES them. Aside from the aesthetics of nice robust books, the hands on approach with repetitive text alloqs for Jonnt to know what's coming each time. He knows that each time ita not thw rifht one until the end when he cheers. My boys love the bear version.

My son has actually never liked the pictures or the touchy-feely bits. Though he seemed to enjoy the text more when younger, at 10 months this is not one of his choices at all. Okay while it lasts, but a possibly limited shelf-life.

We love the 'that's not my ...' books. We have read these books with our daughter since she was 10m old, she is now 2. When she touches new things, she describes what she is touching, 'that's bumpy, that's soft or that's rough' and so on. We go to our local library, to try and find different one's.

My son and I enjoyed reading this book we started when he was 5 months old. He's now 20 months, and still enjoys reading and feeling the different textures in the book. I also notice that it has helped my son to knowing the different types of textures and his development.
He also has other 'That's Not My...' books in this series; and his very first book, 'That's Not My Lion', was a gift that we take everywhere we go. We would recommend this book and other books in the series.
