My 16 month old was given these books and loves the different textures on the pages. His favorite one is thats not my monkey book.

No.longer a baby Adam has passed on all his That's Not My...books onto his 18m old brother who LOVES them. Aside from the aesthetics of nice robust books, the hands on approach with repetitive text alloqs for Jonnt to know what's coming each time. He knows that each time ita not thw rifht one until the end when he cheers. My boys love the bear version.

Short enough for a quick read can be made longer by taking about all pictures , baby seemed to enjoy it one if the first we have read together .

I used to read these books to my son now 6 passed them down to my daughter who likes them too Alex loved to find the mouse we used to ask him where the mouse was very good books love them.

My son has actually never liked the pictures or the touchy-feely bits. Though he seemed to enjoy the text more when younger, at 10 months this is not one of his choices at all. Okay while it lasts, but a possibly limited shelf-life.

Florence is 18 weeks and loves looking at the vibrant colors and we move her hands over the different textures!

a great repetitive book. My son has the full set of 'thats not my' books and trys to read them as he knows the repetativeness of them and how things feel. Brilliant book for early readers

My twin girls have lots of books in this series and love them all. They've now started picking them up themselves and finding the sensory patches and looking for the mouse!

Read this in the library, Mo is only 11 weeks and she seems to love being read to. I moved her hand over the different textures, this book kept her interest

My daughter loves this book, and has 'thats not my ...lion, dragon, fairy' and many more. she loves all the different textures especially the scratchy bits, and will sit there for ages looking at the pages and babbling on her own.

We love the 'that's not my ...' books. We have read these books with our daughter since she was 10m old, she is now 2. When she touches new things, she describes what she is touching, 'that's bumpy, that's soft or that's rough' and so on. We go to our local library, to try and find different one's.

My son loves these books, he got this one along with "That's not my lion" and "That's not my puppy" for christmas- he adores feeling all of the different textures, he already knows where to look to feel each different one :)

My son and I enjoyed reading this book we started when he was 5 months old. He's now 20 months, and still enjoys reading and feeling the different textures in the book. I also notice that it has helped my son to knowing the different types of textures and his development.

He also has other 'That's Not My...' books in this series; and his very first book, 'That's Not My Lion', was a gift that we take everywhere we go. We would recommend this book and other books in the series.

My 10-month-old loves these books, particularly the scratchy and bumpy bits. He goes straight to them on every page! We read at least one a day but usually more :)

My son and I love the 'That's Not My...' series of books. He loves the touchy feely effects and gets very excited when I pull the books off the book shelf. I feel they really help with his development and in growing his love of books.

Our son had a 'That's Not My...' boxset of three books (Bear, Lion, Puppy) for Christmas and he loves them. He always goes back to these books to read. And his favourite thing is to spot the little mouse on each page!
