Mia has left the noisy city behind, and come to live with her Grandma in a land of forest and snow. At first her new life is strange, and she feels very different to the other children in the village. But then one night, she runs out into the garden, and when she watches the snow falling around her, she realises that she herself is like one of the snowflakes - unique and perfect in her own special way.

The first picture book from CBeebies presenter Cerrie Burnell is a lovely story which will help children understand that it's OK to be different. Laura Ellen Anderson's sweet illustrations are the perfect accompaniment to Burnell's gentle, heart-warming text.
