As Nova talks about what she can see in her bedroom, she invites readers to look around their own environment and discuss what they can see. When Nova ventures outside, she observes everything around her, from buses, trees and buildings, to tiny bugs scuttling along the ground. She also explains that not everyone sees in the same way, and some people have guide dogs to help them, while others read Braille.  

This early science book contains just the right level of information for inquisitive toddlers, encouraging them to develop their observation skills. The vibrant illustrations are full of details to explore, while rhyming text provides pace to the narrative, making it ideal to read aloud.
