Signed Stories: A Lark in the Ark

Publisher: Egmont

Review

All the animals are in the ark - but they're bored. 'Let's play hide and seek' suggests Noah. But he knows all their usual hiding places, so the animals cheekily pick the one place they're forbidden to go - Noah's bedroom. When he opens the door, there's not a beast in sight - but there's wriggling under bedclothes, whispering in wardrobes and snuffling behind the dressing table...

Via the Signed Stories app, this picture book is told with a British Sign Language performance or subtitles, as well as narration, sound effects and specially-commissioned music. There's also two interactive games and story notes for parents and carers.
