Dog chefs Shifty McGifty and Slippery Sam are keeping very busy in these three action-packed stories. Sam sights aliens in the park and dashes to the library to find books about aliens to work out what’s going on – only to find that aliens have infiltrated the library!
Despite a lot of alien-proofing, the aliens seem to be everywhere, until the mystery is solved at the local school. In the second story, there’s a sandcastle competition at the seaside and Shifty and Sam are making a sand cupcake – but what’s Red Rocket the red panda up to? Finally, Shifty and Sam find out that Miss Peachy Pie’s Pamper Café has opened in town and is taking all their custom – but there’s something distinctly fishy going on.
These highly illustrated stories are fantastic fun for new readers and anyone looking for a jolly read with a little bit of mystery and some lovable characters.
