Rumble! Roar! Let’s Build

Publisher: QED

Review

A beautifully produced board book showing the noisy vehicles at work on a building site. The button activates the appropriate sounds for a bulldozer, digger, dump truck and road roller, and the last page shows all the vehicles and plays all the sounds for you to match them up.

The illustrations and palette are really appealing, and the chunky characters show an inclusive workforce. The bright and bold vehicles are eye-catching, and the short text has some fun onomatopoeic elements to get noisy with. A lovely little book to capture the attention of any babies showing an interest in diggers and building vehicles… Or anything noisy!
