Rosie's Walk
Publisher: Random House
Rosie the unflappable hen introduces very young children to reading pictures and finding out that they tell a story that is not always the same as the one the words tell. As Rosie walks round the barnyard, she is completely unaware of the sly, but clumsy fox following right behind her. This is a great way to let children know that stories can be full of thrills - and are simply too good to miss!

My daughter loves and enjoys this picture book very much. She could see and predict what will happen next. Nice work of art!

my son loves this book and takes great delight in the pictures of the fox getting into all sorts of scrapes-he particularly likes the bees swarming at the end-the art work is beautiful and there are lots of small details to point out

My Son, really enjoys this book, we first read it at his play group where Rosie actually came to life in a soft toy and the children could each take it in turn taking Rosie for a walk, and then taking her home to see what Rosie did on her walk with the children. Great fun

There are not many words in this book but that what makes it fun to read as you have to look at the pictures in order to see what is happening.
My daughter loves to look at the pictures and try to guess what was going to happen.

This is my son's No1 favourite book! He found this book in a Japanese library when we visited my mother. We read it with making funny sounds together. He absolutely loved it! Then, we found it again in our local library after we came back to London. He was very excited to find it! Now, he is 3 years old, and reads it to his little sister with making very funny sounds! Now, this book has become my 1-year-old daughter's favourite book, too!
