Mi Wnei Di Lwyddo, Tyrone! / You Can Do Anything, Tyrone!
Publisher: Rily Publications
Dyma lyfr sydd yn annog plant i gysylltu â’u gorffennol er mwyn tanio’u breuddwydion a datblygu eu hunanhyder yn y presennol. Mae Tyrone yn teimlo’n rhwystredig gan fod ei ymdrechion i adeiladu roced o flociau, er mwyn teithio i’r gofod, yn methu. Mae Tad-cu yn gweld cyfle am wers bywyd ac yn annog ei ŵyr i freuddwydio am daith y tu hwnt i’r lleuad. Ond dal i gwyno am ei flociau mae Tyrone – hyd nes bod Tad-cu yn sôn am gryfder ei gyndeidiau a ddaeth i Brydain ar gwch y Windrush. Hyn sydd wir yn tanio breuddwydion a chred Tyrone ynddo’i hun. O’r diwedd mae Tyrone yn deall neges Tad-cu ei fod yn gallu llwyddo!
This is a book that encourages children to connect with their past in order to fuel their dreams and develop their self-confidence in the present. Tyrone feels frustrated that his attempts to build a rocket out of blocks, to travel to space, has failed. His grandfather sees an opportunity for a life lesson and encourages Tyrone to dream much bigger than just seeing the moon. But Tyrone is still distracted by his failed rocket until Grandad talks to him about his ancestors who travelled to Britain on the Windrush and the strength they showed to overcome their struggles. Finally, Tyrone understand his grandad’s message that he can do anything!
