Mango Delight

Mango Delight Fuller can still barely believe that her parents named her after a dessert! But that becomes the least of her worries when her best friend defects to be one of the phone-loving ‘Cell-belles’ and she is dropped from the track team after an unfortunate accident.

Just when she thinks things can’t get any worse, an unkind practical joke sets her up for humiliation in front of the whole drama group. Is this the beginning of the end, or could it mark the start of a new chapter in Mango’s life?

This school story, set in the USA, features a multi-ethnic cast of characters and tackles issues of bullying, isolation, family dynamics, self-discovery and the nature of friendship. The key message is one of exploring new opportunities and learning to establish your own set of values in life.
