This story is one of my 3-year-old's favourite in a treasury book of baby and toddler stories and rhymes we have. I like it too because it's easy to read and straightforward - not too descriptive but full of interesting things they get up to on a day trip to the beach.

Such a beautiful book. Can conjure up those fantastic seaside days even in the depths of winter. So much for my son to think about.
