Long Neck and Thunder Foot

Publisher: Andersen Press

Two huge dinosaurs, Long Neck and Thunder Foot, usually live far away from one another. Neither has ever seen another dinosaur before so when they come face to face one day, after Thunder Foot has chased a butterfly too far from home, they are both completely terrified.

The thump-de-thump of Long Neck’s nervous tail and the clapping and rattling of Thunder Foot’s fearful bony scales add fuel to the fire, but when an unexpected mishap forces the two to speak to one another, neither can believe their ears.

Michael Foreman’s vivid illustrations enhance the action and youngsters will find it easy to empathise with characters fearful of the unknown and wary of the unfamiliar.
