My son absolutely loves the rhythm and rhyme here. We have to read it at least three times before bed but he'll often find it throughout the day and show me the first page enthusiastically smiling until I say ROAR! Bless him, he's only 12 months! It's a hit.

My 2 and 4 year old boys love this book mostly because it has lots of good dinosaur pictures. It helps in understanding opposites and it also has a good rhythm and rhyming patter as you read.

My daughter and I have read this book together hundreds of times since she was given it by our health visitor around her 1st birthday (she is now 3 and still loves it). She does actions for some of the dinosaurs, like 'Dinosaur Strong' shows her arm muscles and we always giggle that 'Dinosaur Grumpy' is like her Daddy!

My little boy absolutely adores this book, especially the final page. His favourite illustration is the very very long dinosaur with the tiny dinosaurs walking on it. We used to do the baby signs (and silly voices!) while we read and we're convinced it helped him to learn adjectives and adverbs. The simple rhyme is great - who would have thought that you could get so much enjoyment out of a book which, apart from the last two pages, only has two words on each page.

I have shared this with my friends who have little ones a similar age to my little boy. This book was given to him by his Aunt who said it was her boys favourite book and it makes him smile and he now knows lots of actions for some of the dinosaurs. Fabulous book!

Robert loves it when I make different sounds to the words, for example I put on a miserable voice for 'dinosaur grumpy' and talk really slowly for 'dinosaur slow'. A very colourful book, a must buy!
