Dinosaur Hide-and-Seek

Publisher: Oxford University Press

A rather adorable red dinosaur called Anchisaurus is inviting you to pay his favourite game: Dinosaur hide and seek. A whole gang of brightly coloured dinosaurs are ready to play: Triceratops, Iguanodon, Pterandon and Plesiosaurus, among others.

First, the reader has to cover their eyes and count to ten, and then it’s hide and seek time! Each dinosaur is hiding in a particular environment – can you find them? Stegosaur is hiding among some rocks, Triceratops is hiding in a muddy swamp and Plesiosaur is hiding somewhere in the kelp-filled water. Finally, where is the massive and slightly scary Tyrannosaurus Rex?

This colourful, simple first book about dinosaurs introduces young readers to some of the popular types of dino and gives them a basic fact about what type of environment each one lived in. As well as having a fun and interactive seek and find theme – little ones will love pointing out where the dinosaurs are hiding on all the pages - Alex Latimer’s sweet and colourful illustrations help give the book its adorable and friendly feel.
