Apple Pie ABC

Publisher: Orchard Books

Here is an introduction to the alphabet featuring a hot apple pie and a hungry pup!

Once he has seen the pie and eaten a crumb of it he must get his paws on some more, but the little girl who has baked it is determined to keep him away.

He tries jumping up, begging, whining and sulking. Eventually he hides under the table, tugs on the table cloth and brings the pie tumbling to the floor. He eats it all up and then goes for a long sleep on the armchair.

Using a retro style, font and colour scheme the pictures and letters are big and bold enough for classroom use. A humorous and charming picture book.
