Amazing Baby: Mummy, Baby

Publisher: Bonnier

Review

A chunky glossy board book with exciting tabs to slide and reveal which babies belong to which mummies. Cats, pigs and bears at the zoo are all shown with their little ones, and a little rhyming text talks the reader through. The final slider shows a human mummy, daddy and baby.

The colours are bright and the illustrations are bold and young. Little children will love the "slide and reveal" format, which is lots of fun for little hands. Slightly older babies and young toddlers might be able to make the connection at the end between the human baby in the family and the baby animals, too.
