Afterwalkers
Publisher: Scholastic Children’s Books
Twelve year old Jamie's family lives on the road, stealing what they can and selling it on. Although Jamie is used to this life he doesn't much like it. When his dad is asked to do a job in rural Alderston for a mysterious client, Jamie hopes they may settle for a while. But the people of Alderston don't like outsiders and the town harbours sinister, centuries' old secrets which unfortunately Jamie has unwittingly uncovered…
This disturbing tale in the supernatural, zombie/horror genre has a refreshingly inventive storyline and credible and likeable protagonists the reader can really root for. A very rewarding and exciting page turner.

Was one of the greatest books iv'e ever read it has the right balance of supernatural and real life and , although did make my heart pound as i became more engrossed and part of the book it was great. This book totally amazed me, as soon as I opened the book I couldn't close it. The front cover may cease to amaze you but trust me when you open it up your feelings will totally change. I would say this book is sort of a horror and I would recommend the book to anyone over the age of 11 !!
