A Wild Walk to School

It’s time to get ready for two adventurous sisters. Mum keeps worrying about them getting to school on time, but they have more pressing things to think about. For starters, they need to vigorously test out their welly boots to ensure they offer enough protection for the big adventure ahead. 

As they set off to school, it’s not long before the girls encounter their first chance to be brave: the Shadowlands, where they have to be extra careful not to step on any patches of sunlight, otherwise they’ll be turned to stone. Next comes a treacherous gulf in the ground, molten lava disguised as autumn leaves, and even a sleeping giant that looks a lot like a road speed bump.  

Mum seems unbothered by all the danger and earnestly tries to get the girls to hurry up, but the escapades continue all the way to the school gates. Will they get to school in time?
