About this book
Bunny and Chick work hard – with the help of the Eggmaster 3000 – to make, pack and deliver chocolate eggs and bunnies to all the creatures. Yet when Bunny gets all the acclaim for the fabulous eggs, Chick feels a bit overlooked. So, when the next Easter comes around, she sticks “Love from Chick” labels on all the eggs and cons Bunny into taking a nap at delivery time so she can do it instead.
Yet, making the delivery isn’t as easy as Chick expected, and when things go eggs-travagantly wrong, Chick fears the worst. Fortunately, Chick’s accident creates something even better than a delivery – and both Chick and Bunny realise that teamwork is the way forward.
This original take on how Easter egg hunts really started is a fun, rhyming tale, with plenty of humorous detail in Pippa Curnick’s bright and lovable illustrations. The message is that working as a team and acknowledging others’ contributions is the best way forward – and that sometimes mistakes bring the best results.
