About this book

Kevin is a somewhat rotund flying pony who loves biscuits (particularly custard creams) and lives in a big nest on the roof of his best friend Max's tower block.

Max's annoying older sister Daisy is a huge fan of gothy pop star Misty Twiglet, who, hugely coincidentally, has just bought a massive house in their town. Daisy is over the moon when Misty comes to their flat - but Max is less than happy when Misty tries to BUY Kevin for herself! There's no way that the family are going to sell their best friend - but Misty doesn't like being told 'no'...

This is a follow-up story to The Legend of Kevin: A Roly Poly Flying Pony Adventure, but Kevin's Great Escape can be read happily on its own with no prior knowledge of the first (although, if you haven't read Legend of Kevin, you definitely should).

Like all the Reeve & McIntyre books, Kevin's Great Adventure is brilliantly illustrated throughout, full of laughs and has a good heart at its core, reminding us what it is to be a good friend - and a good sibling. Parents will also doubtless love the tongue-in cheek homage to moody pop/rock stars in Misty Twiglet.
