About this book
In this futuristic retelling of a well-known fairy tale, Cinderella lives in outer space and dreams of building rockets. Her step-mother prevents her from attending the Royal Space Parade but luckily her fairy godrobot is on hand to help. As Cinderella jets off to the Gravity-Free Ball she swoons at the sight of the Prince's spaceship. When it starts spouting smoke, she puts her mechanical skills to use and repairs it. As midnight approaches, she makes a hasty exit but leaves her sonic socket wrench behind, so the Prince searches the galaxy for the girl who captured his heart while fixing his ship.
Told in amusing rhyming verse with bold illustrations, this is a fresh, enjoyable revamp of a traditional tale.
