Billionaire Boy
by David Walliams, illustrated by Tony Ross

About this book
Having started from humble origins, Joe’s father is now a billionaire, and Joe has everything he wants, except true friends. To remedy this he enrols at the local comprehensive school, where he learns the hard way that you can’t buy them, and that family and friends are more important than any possessions.
Ross’s inimitable illustrations capture and extend Walliams’ style perfectly. Despite the book’s length, the large print would make it accessible for older but less keen readers, and the touches of satire could also attract that audience, as well as adults.
