Tumpty's toenails
Posted 21 December 2010

I'm spinning rather a lot of plates at the moment; I'm looking out of my window at spring and wondering what would happen if I dropped them all? It's the combination of doing lots of events as well as meeting deadlines. It's like trying to make books at the same time as doing JAZZ HANDS. It's a tricky balance.
This week I've been working on Fandango, finishing a cover for a Walker picture book, checking Tumpty's tongue matches his pantone, having a strange monoprinting interlude, waggling puppets, writing a picture book about how to write a picture book and all the while grinning inanely...aaahhh...smash.

I think I'll go for a stroll in the sun.
