Page Eight
Ta-dah! I give you Bruce Ingman; the final illustrator in the game of consequences- have a look.
I love the way that everybody has been charging forwarded with great gusto, all heading somewhere very important; and then suddenly we have this great big rubber facing them, as if threatening to rub everybody out. If you've read Pencil by Bruce and Alan Ahlberg you'll know what I'm talking about. Luckily he has left me with a rather swashbuckling pencil and his lovely lady wife paintbrush, they look ready to paint me a very happy ending...so it's not quite over yet!

Here's the Runaway Sausage, he's ran all the way to the back of the envelope.
