Done!

I'VE FINISHED FANDANGO...apart from the title page, end pages and cover; and any possible corrections. Okay, I've nearly finished Fandango: WOO-HOO. It's funny, when a book is done, I tend to go through the same process: a brief moment of elation, a feeling of flatness, a worry that it's no good, a bar of chocolate and finally a mahoosive tidy up. Phew. The end of Fandango marks the end of a few things, my residency here at Booktrust finishes next week, sniff. Also next week is the announcement of the Ten Best New Illustrators, exciting. I have thoughts on who they may be; I'll write about it when I find out. Tomorrow I go up to London to deliver the artwork to Frances Lincoln. Then my exhibition opens, eek. I shall be biting the heads off my characters, partly
