Bye!

Eek! This is my last post! Time for a speech.. ahem.

When I first started writing this blog I worried that no one was reading, then as I went on I worried that everyone was reading, then I got over myself and stopped worrying altogether, perhaps the most worrying thing of all? Despite my blog fears I have enjoyed the past six months hugely; not only has it been a lovely record, it has inspired all sorts of ideas. One of my favourite things has been the consequences game, thank you for those who joined in, it could have gone much longer. Also I've loved working with the fab and fun team at Booktrust: Meg, Nikesh and Alice- thank you for having me..and thank you to those who have been reading!

So that really is enough about me. It's time for me to hand over to the rather brilliant *drumroll* Clare Wigfall *fanfare*. I know she's brilliant because I've been reading her book of short stories, the loudest sound and nothing, all weekend, they are marvelous; we're in for a treat. Clare, I'm very much looking forward to seeing how your residency unfolds....good luck!
