Look!  Someone has spray painted a poem on a patch of pavement I walk several times a week.  As you can see from the picture to the left, it's necessary to take a few paces between each line, which lends a very literal meaning to the literary notion of "pacing".  Try to scroll slowly to get a similar effect (and if you have trouble reading any of the text, hover your mouse over the box and it should pop up)...

Can we?

Shall we?

One day very soon.

Let us go away,

Together?

Just you and me.

Call in sick,

And go to

The sea

and hold hands

all day?

Eat our

Sandwiches

On the train

Get drunk

On fresh air

Come home tired

And never

tell anyone

Ever...

So here's my challenge to you for the week.  Go buy yourself a box of chalk and write some words on a pavement nearby you so that someone like me can walk by and read them.

p.s. In case you're wondering, the poem above is by Rob Ryan.

p.p.s. And in case you're needing some music to listen to after reading this, well, a bit of Pavement might be appropriate, don't you think?  Try this:
