Booktrust Teenage Prize 2009 call for entries

Now in its seventh year, the Booktrust Teenage Prize is a national book prize that recognises and celebrates the best in contemporary writing for teenagers.

The Prize money is £2,500 and will be awarded to the author of the best eligible book in the opinion of the Judges.

Publishers are now invited to submit books published between 1 July 2008 and 30 June 2009, written in English by a citizen of the UK, or an author resident in the UK.

The closing date for entries is Monday 2 March 2009.

We have expanded the criteria to include non-fiction (including poetry) and graphic novels. All genres will be judged together.
