Sisters Rorie and Elsie Silk are in serious trouble! Their easy-going fashion-designer parents have mysteriously disappeared and they've been sent to Poker Butte Hall, the repressive boarding school run by awful Uncle Harris and Aunt Irmine. The girls soon realise something sinister is afoot when they uncover Uncle Harris trying to trick their Great-Grandmother into changing her will and they're convinced they must escape. But it's not as easy as it sounds – involving chameleon-like personality changes, hair-raising car chases and a fashion show! Unashamedly pink, this is a quick, fast-paced fun read; it's filled with imaginative details of futuristic clothes and girly gizmos and its feisty heroines don't wilt when facing adversity. A cliff-hanger ending also leaves room for sequels for readers wanting more.
