Dowdie lives in a community whose enigmatic leader heads up a seemingly peaceful cult and who welcomes the lonely Amber with open arms. But beneath a harmless veneer lurks a sinister truth just waiting to explode.
Part thriller, part love story, The Amethyst Child is a gripping read. Beautifully characterised and written with empathy and sensitivity, this is a story which will appeal to readers from a wide range of ages and interests.
