When Louis moves house, he has a lot to get used to - a new school, a new walk every morning, a new bedroom at the top of a new home and a very unexpected new friend.

On his very first night in his new bedroom, Louis finds a large, green, hairy, snorting, one-eyed monster under his bed. But this monster is different to most monsters.

This monster is terrified of the noisy new family that has moved in. Louis brings his monster to school and little Lola befriends them both. Nothing seems as scary now that Louis has two new friends.

An appealing tale, with wonderfully expressive illustrations, about friendship and its ability to overcome childhood worries.
